# SARM Token Utility

The **SARM** token is the backbone of Stellar Armada’s in-game economy, offering players multiple ways to engage with and shape the universe. Its primary utilities include:

* **Building and Upgrading Cities:** Use SARM tokens to acquire resources and advance your planetary cities, constructing critical infrastructure and defenses.
* **Fleet Management:** Invest in and upgrade your starships and fleets, ensuring you have the best armada to dominate your rivals and explore the galaxy.
* **In-Game Marketplace:** Trade resources, starships, and rare NFTs with other players. The marketplace operates on a decentralized model, allowing players to profit from their strategic investments.
* **Governance Participation:** SARM holders have a say in game development through decentralized governance. Propose changes, vote on updates, and influence the future of Stellar Armada.
* **Staking and Passive Income:** Stake your SARM tokens to earn rewards and exclusive in-game benefits, such as rare items, fleet upgrades, or additional governance power.
